We accept most major insurance plans including Geisinger Health Plan, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Capital Blue, Highmark, Cigna and Aetna.
We offer both in-person and secure online sessions to fit your preferences and needs.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll start by discussing what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and any goals or concerns you may have. We will also discuss the theraputic process, confidentiality and its limitations and practice policies.
A standard individual therapy session lasts about 50 minutes, which allows us time to check in, explore your current concerns, and work toward your goals in a focused and meaningful way.
Some clients may request longer sessions (e.g., 75 or 90 minutes) — especially for couples or trauma-focused work — and these can be arranged in advance based on availability and your needs.
We’ll work together to find a session length and frequency that supports your progress while fitting into your schedule and lifestyle.
Frequency varies based on your goals and needs. Weekly sessions are most common to start, and we can adjust over time.
Yes. Everything discussed is confidential, with a few legal exceptions which we will go over during your first session.
Confidentiality means that what you share in therapy stays private. It’s a core part of building trust and creating a safe space where you can speak openly.
As a therapist, we're legally and ethically required to protect your privacy. This means we won’t share anything you say with anyone without your written permission — with a few important exceptions:
We’ll go over these exceptions in more detail during your first session and in the intake paperwork, so you’ll always know where your privacy stands. If you ever have questions about confidentiality, you're encouraged to ask at any time.
You can book a session by calling us at (570) 855-8787, reaching out through the contact section on our homepage, or by contacting one of our therapists directly.
That’s completely normal. We’ll go at your pace, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. Feeling unsure at first is part of the process — you’re not alone.
